Broadfield Farm, owned by Sasha Newman, is a unique dressage based facility focused on selecting and producing the completely “made” sport horse.  While dressage is simply the French word for training, America has never fully embraced what the European cavalry tradition has always known -- that every horse can and should be trained to the campaign level (that is our modern third/fourth level). Such training results in a horse that is a pleasure to ride, a horse that is easy to handle and that generally retains his soundness well into his second decade without artificial veterinary means, and a horse that is able to go on to compete at the highest of levels in the hunter field, the dressage ring, or the jumping stadium.
